We offer three basic landing styles associated with our standard stair systems; Concrete filled, checker plate, and smooth plate and will soon be adding two more options.
Concrete filled landings are used in conjunction with concrete (pan) filled stairs. The stairs and the landings are built to be filled with concrete after they are installed creating an  attractive and long wearing surface.
Checker plate landings are used in conjunction with checker plate stairs. The stairs and landings can be painted or galvanized depending on the application. Except for the final finish coat of paint, no further work is required after installation.
Smooth plate landings and stairs are used when the customer wishes to apply a veneer of wood, stone, or other material of his choice as a walking surface.

Quiet-Tread™ Landings checker plate landings fitted 

with Quiet Tread™ on the landings is quieter than concrete fitted pans over the range of frequencies the human ear is most sensitive (approximately 1kH2 to 5kH2).
